Webinar Recap: Exploring the Future of Medical Simulation with AI in DIMEDUS
On July 31, 2025, at 12:00 UTC, DIMEDUS held a successful international webinar focused on the integration of artificial intelligence in simulation-based medical education.
The session brought together current and prospective partners to explore how AI technologies are reshaping communication training and debriefing in clinical simulations
During the webinar, we presented two core innovations now available in the DIMEDUS simulation platform:
AI-powered patient communication, allowing students to interact with virtual patients in free-form, natural clinical dialogue
AI-assisted debriefing, enabling structured post-scenario reflection through intelligent guidance and customizable educational models (e.g. PEARLS, Plus-Delta, GAS)
Attendees viewedlive demonstrations, engaged in discussion, and received insight into how AI can support more scalable, personalized, and effective simulation experiences.
