Why are we the best in the market?
FIRST PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE IN A VIRTUAL ENVIRONMENT.
  • communication with the patient and the patient's relatives,

  • preliminary, differential, and final diagnosis,
  • emergency medical care for emergency conditions,
  • team interaction process,
  • basic manipulations,
  • surgical operations

MEDICAL SPECIALTIES
Interaction with patients
COMMUNICATION
In scenarios focused on diagnosing disease, the interview includes taking the patient's complaints, medical anamnesis, and life history.

The patient gives vocal answers in Russian and English; his (her) answers are duplicated on the screen with subtitles and recorded in the medical history.

The virtual assistant also responds to the trainee in two languages.

In the scenario, the trainee has the opportunity to thoroughly examine the patient for external manifestations of the disease and perform percussion, palpation, and auscultation.

The results of the examination are automatically recorded in the medical history.

PHYSICAL EXAMINATION
CLINICAL THINKING
Once the trainee has established a primary diagnosis based on the results of the visual examination, he or she is expected to outline a plan for further patient examination, for example, conduct laboratory and instrumental studies and appoint a consultation with another medical specialist.

The trainee can not only order medical tests but also grab an instrument and perform a diagnostic study independently.

The traineе confirms or refutes the provisional diagnosis based on the data obtained.

MEDICAL MANIPULATIONS
The trainee can not only order, but also perform a number of medical manipulations, including the following:
  • Intravenous, intradermal, subcutaneous, intramuscular, intraosseous injection;
  • Blood collection from a finger or peripheral vein;
  • Immobilization with a plaster splint;
  • Catheterization of the central vein;
  • Cardiopulmonary resuscitation with/without AED;
  • Insertion of an intravenous peripheral catheter;
  • Gastric lavage;
  • ECG registration;
  • Endotracheal intubation...
SURGICAL INTERVENTIONS

The application contains several scenarios dedicated to the most common laparoscopic operations, such as appendectomy, cholecystectomy, salpingectomy, salpingo-oophorectomy.

The trainee acts as a surgeon and is provided with assistants.

The learner must perform surgical manipulations in the proper order using the correct instruments.

VIRTUAL ASSISTANTS

Meet Alina, one of the virtual assistants of the DIMEDUS Clinic.

She and other virtual assistants will help to go through the scenario and learn the sequence of actions; they will conduct a debriefing upon completion of the scenario.

Learning
a virtual assistant guides the actions of the trainee
Perform
the trainee performs all actions independently, and the assistant will give a prompt in case of an error
Exam
trainee acts independently and with no prompts. Upon completion of the scenario, a detailed report is generated automatically to assess the trainee's actions
SCENARIO EXECUTION MODES

LIBRARY
Interactive theoretical materials accompany many clinical cases. Short lessons highlight key issues for the meaningful execution of clinical scenario actions.

In the course of the lesson, questions from the previous lessons of this cycle are asked.

At the end of the lesson, control questions are asked about the material covered, and a report is generated.

OBJECTIVE ASSESSMENT

After the completion of a scenario or lesson, a detailed report on its passage is formed, containing a list of correct actions and errors, for example, manipulations that were not performed or not performed on time and incorrect or unnecessary orders.
PERSONAL STATISTICS
Reports are generated based on the completed scenarios or lesson results and saved in the trainee's account in the Statistics section. This allows for tracing learning dynamics and forming an individual learning trajectory.
OVERALL STATISTICS

Extensive overall statistics is another invaluable tool in a teacher's arsenal.
This is an opportunity to compare the learners' performance ranging from university to group, identify the strengths and weaknesses of each student, reward those who are successful, and help those who fall behind.
